Record the opening balance, tithes, offerings, other income, expenses and closing balance. Keep separate categories for designated funds such as missions or building projects. The report should reconcile with bank statements and the cash count, not just a list of expected payments.

How to use the template
- Download and open the CSV in your spreadsheet application.
- Delete the illustrative rows and enter real transactions in NGN.
- Group transactions by tithe, offering, mission, operations and other funds.
- Calculate monthly income and expenses and reconcile the closing balance to bank and cash records.
- Have an authorised second reviewer check supporting receipts and approvals.
What the template does not do
This CSV is a starter transaction log, not an audited accounting system. It does not automatically reconcile bank accounts, calculate balances or establish compliance with Nigerian reporting obligations. Protect donor information and consult a qualified accountant where necessary.
